This isn’t your typical New York City travel guide. It’s chock-full of activities in the order in which you can walk straight from a local.
Reddit user “360DegreeNinjaAttack” provides their walking list and it looks a little something like this (edited for clarity):

- Walk down southeast out of the park
- Walk down 5th Avenue for a bit and do some high-end window shopping
- Cut over to Times Square
- Head down Broadway to the Flatiron (or take the subway)
- Walk down to Union Square (go on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat if you can to see the farmers market)
- Take the “6” train to Spring St.
- Walk around Soho, eventually heading south
- Walk around Chinatown
- Walk around Little Italy
